Cathy Freeman, a native of Greensboro, N.C., is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in journalism and mass communication, concentrating in news. She is a published creative writer and marketing professional in various industries including local government, non-profit, radio, magazine and publishing.
Cathy is currently a freelance multimedia journalist residing in Chapel Hill. Her passion for advancing the frontier of interactive marketing led her to Elon University where she is earning an M.A. in interactive media.
